I'm New to MacombOur BeliefsMacomb Christian Church is an independent Christian Church. We are self governed, and not under the direction of any denominational headquarters. In light of helping people understand what we believe, we offer these simple statements. They are not the sum total of everything we believe about God or Christian life, but we believe that there must be agreement on these most basic truths.God exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19-20; Matthew 3:16-17; John 14:9-10)Jesus is the Christ, the eternal Son of God, who died for the sins of the world and was raised to life on the third day. (1 Corinthians 15:1-8; John 3:16; John 20:24-31)The Bible is God's inspired and authoritative revelation to all mankind. (2 Timothy 3:14-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13)Every person has worth as a creation of God, but all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23; Psalm 139:13-14; Genesis 1:26-27)Forgiveness of sins, the Holy Spirit and eternal life are given to those who trust Christ our Savior and Lord. (John 3:16; Romans 6:23)Those accepting Christ as Savior should repent of sin, confess faith, be baptized into Him, and live for Him. (Romans 10:9; Acts 2:38; Mark 8:34-38)The church is the body of Christ on earth and exists to evangelize the lost and equip the saved. (Ephesians 4:1-7,11-16)Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and reign forever as King of kings and Lord of lords. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
