 |
Aron has been on staff at Macomb as the Minister of Worship and Creative Arts since January 2008. He and his wife Erica are from southern Ohio about an hour east of Cincinnati on the Ohio River. After dating since their freshman year in high school, they were married in August of 2005 while attending Indiana Wesleyan University where they both graduated in April of 2006. Aron graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Leadership with a minor in Communications. Erica graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. They were blessed to have their first child, Isabelle Rose, in September of 2006, and just welcomed their secound child, Judah Paul, in August of 2009.
Aron has played guitar since he was 14 years old. Shortly afterward he began writing songs and leading worship at youth meetings and at church. Since then, he has played in several different bands and has lead worship at various churches, camps, conferences, and colleges.
After graduating college Aron worked as a loan officer in Cincinnati. During this time the Lord revealed the true calling of his life: to teach people how to love God. As Aron sought out what this calling looked like practically, the Lord led him to consider vocational worship ministry. While music is his passion, he also enjoys sports of all sorts, fishing, hiking, theological reading, and spending time with his family.
