2021 in review

2021 was a year of recovery. As we were faithful, God continued to serve through us in our world. It was a challenge. The effects of COVID in 2020 continued into 2021. But through it all, here are some of the things we saw God do this year:

  • We average 309 weekly online views

  • Average monthly in-person attendance grew from 155 in January to 231 in October

  • 13 people made decisions to be baptized so far this year

  • We’ve added 11 new members to our congregation

  • 12 current LIFE Groups are meeting for growth and discipleship

  • June Volunteer Appreciation Dinner = 60 people attended

  • March MCREST fed 30 guests for a week in their COVID alternative program

  • Summer Night Kids Program ministered to 30 kids this summer

  • May Church Work Day = 45 volunteers

  • Completely remodeled the original part of our facility.

  • Repainted the hallways at Schwarzkoff Elementary

  • 40 cars participated at our Easter Road Rally for families

  • 10 people went on a mission trip to Ghana. We funded and helped finish a second church building

  • Our Sunday morning Kids programs now meet both hours on Sunday morning (33 avg. in January, 47 avg. in October)

  • Celebrated Church on Our Lawn in July  with 197 in attendance

  • Packed 41,000 meals to give away at our Food Packing event in February

  • Sent 94 industrial-sized bags of clothes through Master Provisions in our Clothing Drive with the help of 40 volunteers. These will minister to 3,500 people in Togo, Africa, and impoverished America.
