NOMINEES:
ELDERS
Larry Dodge
Larry was born in 1960. He grew up in Algonac, where his family attended First Evangelical Lutheran Church. As a sophomore in high school, he began dating Debbie Benke. Her family attended the Algonac Church of Christ. Larry’s doctrinal curiosity and subsequent study had him eventually become a member of his then-girlfriend’s church.
After graduating from CCS in Detroit with a BFA degree in 1983, he and Debbie were married and moved to Sterling Heights. They began attending Macomb Christian Church (a sister church of the Algonac Church of Christ). Through the years he has served as an Elder, Deacon, and has taught Sunday School.
Larry has three grown children, Amanda, Aaron, and Alissa and recently celebrated his 40th wedding anniversary 40th year of being an illustrator and photo re-toucher. He has also been an art professor at Macomb Community College.

DEACONS
Amanda Dodge
Amanda has literally grown up at Macomb - she has attended since she was born. She has always been a part of Kids Ministry: first as a participant, then teaching. Amanda is currently one of the Deacons over Kids Ministry. She also served in Student Ministry and currently leads a LIFE Group. Outside of church, Amanda is in her 11 year of teaching Pre-K in the Southfield area. Her passion is kids and seeing them grow. She loves to spend time with her friends, family, nieces, and nephews.
Steve Cameron
Steve has been a member of Macomb for over 24 years and is married to his wife Laurie of 27 years. He has five children and three grandchildren. Steve currently serves as team leader for the Outreach Team. He has served in a variety of ministries: a teacher for 2nd and 3rd graders, tweens, and junior high students, Counting Team, Men’s Ministry, Prayer Team, Stephens Ministry, and Outreach Team. He is currently a Trustees at Macomb and assisted in the sale of our back property.

Next summer, Steve, is leading our mission trip to Ghana. He retired two years ago from the Federal Bureau of Investigations as an Intelligence Analyst. Steve loves to spend time with friends and family over a good game of Euchre, playing fantasy hockey with his youngest son and friends, and going on mission trips with his wife.
Kent Wagner
Kent has been a member of Macomb since 2003. He's been married to Diane since 1978 and has one surviving child, Stephen. Currently, he serves on Counting Team and teaches the three to five-year-old Sunday School class twice a month alongside. Kent has been a Deacon for several terms and has helped with Sunday Servants and the Sunday Nights in Kids Ministry. Kent enjoys serving from behind the scenes to make Sundays at Macomb happen. His favorite bible verse is John 3:15-17. That promise is what it's all about.
