When we come to Christ, our lives continue to change. God accepts us just the way we are, but he refuses to leave us like that. The process of our transformation takes time… and intentional effort. It takes determination to lay the right foundations in our lives and character.

In this series through 1 Samuel, we will let the story of Samuel, Eli, David, and Saul show us the foundations of character that God is building into our lives. The nation was at an all-time low in morality and godliness. God specifically moved through these men to help rebuild the character of his people. Sometimes through their good examples; sometimes through their mistakes. God is constantly at work transforming our lives.
